Eastern and Southern African markets are attracting a number of multinational companies whom have mandated criteria for maintaining environmentally sustainable operations. Our Sustainable Environments business unit helps clients make a lasting and positive impact by helping landowners, property owners and businesses focus on improving sustainability within the built environment.
We offer the following integrated services:
We can help your organisation comply with all environmental and health and safety policies and procedures, whether in-house or for contracted services. We can verify the status of your buildings or your organisation, with respect to specific, predetermined environmental, health, or safety criteria.
We can also prepare an environmental management plan, or an impact management plan, as part of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reporting.
Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) enable the identification of a broad range of potential environmental impacts across the entire life on an asset, from its design through to eventual disposal or reuse. The need for LCA's to inform environmental design within the built environment is critical, due to the complex range of materials and processes required to construct and manage the buildings and associated infrastructure.
